SET SAIL
Set sail is a small project made for fun to explore the new Blender 3.1. The main goal was to bring me a bit closer to Blender once again as I have been caught up in another projects recently. I used Cycles engine to render all images and post-composited them all to tweak colour balance and the overall feel. The post production (Affinity Photo) corrects colour grading and adds a noise filter to produce a more film appearance, which conveys more character and emotion. The warmer look contrasts nicely with the vibrant blue and red colours. The stylised topographic appearance is inspired on Derek Elliott’s youtube video. Absolute joy to produce this from start to finish. I hope you like it :) Now get sailin’!
